A website that actually works. $500 to build. $5 a month to host.
Most tradies are either paying an agency far too much for a slow WordPress site they can’t change themselves — or they’ve got nothing but a Facebook page. Both cost you jobs. Here’s the honest fix.
What you’re probably paying now
These are the numbers we see over and over when we ask tradies what their website costs them.
The agency site
$3,000–$8,000
upfront, then $60–$120/month
- Takes 6–12 weeks and a dozen emails
- You can’t change a phone number without a support ticket
- Plugin licences and “maintenance” fees stack up
- Slow — WordPress plus fifteen plugins
The Facebook page
$0
plus every job you never hear about
- Doesn’t show up when someone Googles your trade
- No quote form — they have to message and wait
- Looks the same as every other tradie in your suburb
- You don’t own it and can’t control it
A site built properly
$500
once, then $5/month. That’s the whole price list.
- Live in about a week
- Changes are included — you send a text, we do it
- Loads in under a second on a phone
- Cancel whenever, take the site with you
How it works
Three steps. No meetings unless you want one.
Tell us what you've got
Two minutes, on your phone. Who hosts you now, what you pay, what you paid to have it built. If you've got no site at all, that's the easiest one to fix.
We tell you what it should cost
You get a straight answer back, usually same day. Sometimes the answer is "your current setup is fine, don't change it" — we'll tell you that too.
We build it and it goes live
$500, paid when you're happy with it, not before. Live in about a week. Then it's $5/month to keep it online and we handle the boring bits.
What’s in the $500
Everything. There is no bronze, silver and gold. There’s one build and it includes the lot, because a website missing half of this isn’t worth having.
Check my site →- A real custom site — not a template with your logo dropped in
- Loads in under a second, on 4G, in a ute, in a dead zone
- Works properly on a phone (most of your customers are on one)
- Your services, your suburbs, your licence numbers, your photos
- A quote form that emails you the second someone fills it in
- Set up so you actually turn up in Google for your trade + suburb
- SSL, backups and the security stuff handled — you never see it
- Small text and photo changes included, just ask
The entire price list
This is it. There isn’t a second page.
Build
$500
once, ever
The whole site, designed and written for your business. Paid when it’s built and you’re happy with it.
Hosting
$5
per month, no lock-in
Keeps it online and fast. SSL, backups, security and small content changes included. Cancel any time.
Domain name is separate — about $15–$25 a year, paid to the registrar, not to us. Already own one? We’ll move it across free.
Sites we’ve built
Both of these are live, both load in well under a second, and both were built on exactly the setup described above.
Fair questions
$500 all up? What's the catch?
No catch. $500 is the build, once. $5/month keeps it online. The reason it's not $5,000 is that we use AI tooling to do the heavy lifting on the build, so a site that used to take an agency three weeks takes us a few days. We pass that saving on rather than pocketing it.
What if I already have a website?
Then the first thing we do is look at it honestly. If it's working and you're paying a fair price, we'll tell you to leave it alone. If it's a WordPress site you can't edit, that takes six seconds to load, on a $79/month plan you forgot you signed — that's exactly the situation we fix.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. Hosting is month to month. Cancel any time and we'll hand over the site files and point your domain wherever you want. We'd rather you stay because it's good value than because you're stuck.
Do I own the site?
Yes. You own the domain, the content and the site itself. We're your host, not your landlord.
What if I need changes later?
Small stuff — new photos, price changes, a new service, updating your hours — is included in the $5/month. Just send us a message. A big rebuild or a whole new section is quoted separately, and we'll tell you the number before we start.
How is $5/month even possible?
Because the sites we build are static — they don't need a database or a big server sitting there costing money. They're served from a global edge network that's genuinely cheap at this scale. Traditional WordPress hosting is expensive because WordPress is expensive to run, not because hosting has to be.
What trades do you work with?
Plumbers, electricians, builders, landscapers, painters, tilers, concreters, cleaners, arborists, pest control, mobile mechanics. If you turn up to a job in a vehicle with your name on it, we've probably built for someone like you.
Find out what you’re overpaying
Two minutes, six questions, no phone call unless you ask for one. If your current setup is good value, we’ll tell you to keep it.
